Accounting Coordinator


An excellent company near Lake Forest is looking for an Accounting Coordinator who works well in a fast paced environment high stress environment.
This Accounting Coordinator will perform will be responsible for all accounting activities related to daily sales and accounts payable.
The primary objective of the Accounting Coordinator is to ensure that all accounting transactions are accurately audited and posted in a timely manner on a weekly and month-end basis.
Candidate must be deadline driven and hold attention to detail
Duties for the Accounting Coordinator will include but not limited to the following:
Pay $19.
23-28.
85 per hour DOE
Schedule 8:00am-5:00pm
To be eligible for the Accounting Coordinator must meet all of the following requirements:
o 1-2 Years of accounts payable experience
o Experience with account reconciliations
o Requires working knowledge of MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
o Attention to detail and accuracy
o Must possess excellent customer service skills
o Must possess a sense of urgency
o Must be able to multi-task, strong organizational skills and work well with others
o Communicate effectively (verbal and written) at all organizational levels
o Mid-tier ERP experience (i.
e.
Great Plains, Epicor)
o Review all accounts payable invoices for coding and input accuracy before posting for all corporate-owned restaurants
o Process Travel and Expense Reports, insuring that all receipts are complete and approval obtained
o Reconcile vendor statements and conduct research as necessary and offer resolutions
o Reconcile daily cash and credit card deposits
o Review and process credit card retrievals and chargebacks
o Account Reconciliations as assigned
o Provide customer service to both restaurant and Corporate Departments
o Continuously looks for process improvements within the department, maximizing the technology systems that are available and recommends enhancements to current practices
o Special projects as needed
o Must be detailed oriented have excellent follow-through skills
o Must have outstanding communications skills (verbal and written)
o Must have High School Diploma


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
