Late Stage Collections Representative

Collectors make outbound calls and receive inbound calls, to and from customers, to collect on their delinquent accounts.
The assigned accounts will generally be 31
days past due and older.
Work on delinquent accounts with a sense of urgency, in an effort to collect and reduce past due inventory, and in an effort to prevent accounts from being assigned to an outside collection agency.
Key Responsibilities include:
1.
professionally handle phone calls to request payment for past due accounts2.
overcome customer objections and concerns in a timely and effective manner 3.
negotiate best possible arrangements which may include settlement4.
must follow company policies and procedures including being complaint with all applicable collections laws and HIPPA Requirements:
1.
excellent customer service skills2.
strong verbal and written communication skills including excellent phone etiquette 3.
1
years of prior experience either in Collections, Sales, Telemarketing or Call Center; preference for Collections experience4.
knowledge of collections laws (i.
e.
FDCPA, TCPA & Rosenthal) & HIPAA compliance strongly preferred5.
bilingual English/Spanish required high school diploma or GED required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
