Our office is a fast-paced, yet comfortable environment.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual that is a fast learner, courteous, and professional.
We offer a competitive salary (based on experience).
Flexible schedule options requiring 25-30 hours per week.
Requirements:
Very efficient in QuickBooks.
Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting.
Payroll software knowledge.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Organized and detail oriented.
Positive Attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliability.
Must be able to communicate well with customers, staff, clients, and vendors.
Ability to problem-solve and think analytically.
Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Duties Include (but not limited to):
Payroll management and disbursement.
Bookkeeping, reconciling bank and credit card statements.
Perform accounts receivable and payable activities.
Manage company benefits plans as needed.
Month-end and year-end closing.
Prepare communications such as memos, emails, invoices, reports.
Sales tax filings.
Enter purchase orders, invoices, sales receipts.
Maintain the office supply inventory, filing, and accurate records.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
