Job Summary The Patient Care Coordinator assists the Audiologist with testing and interpretation.
They also work closely with the patients to ensure their first impression at our center exceeds expectations.
They are responsible for assisting patients through their hearing loss treatment journey, including providing orientation on the use of a hearing aids, servicing, and basic troubleshooting of hearing aids.
Pay Range Minimum $18.
25 Midpoint $24.
17 Maximum $30.
11 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience Required:
Minimum two (2) years of customer service, clerical or front office experience.
Preferred:
Patient care coordination experience.
Education Required:
High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred:
College Level Courses or Certifications in healthcare.
Training Required:
None required.
Specialized Skills Required:
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.
